Active Contours Applet
One of the methods for finding edges in digital images is Active Contours Method: the edge is localized where certain energy functional gets minimal value. The present java applet provides a convenient interface for experimenting with the method.
The user can work on his/her own real image or create Bezier-like edges within the applet. Parameters of the method and initial edge aproximation are selectable.
