The Applet's buttons usage

The first group is for setting parameters of the method:

	Large alpha favors short curves.
	Large beta favors smooth curves.
	Large gama allows small displacement in one iteration.
	Degree of smoothing, upper bound is 5 !
	Number of aproximating points in the active curve.

Buttons for controlling iterations:

	Start setting new polygonal initial snake with mouse clicks.
	Fit snakes' aproximating points uniformly along initial snake.
	Do one single step of iteration.
	Start continuous iterations.
	Stop continuous iterations.

Buttons for Bezier edge creation:

	Start forming new Bezier-edge with the mouse.
	Make black and white image containing the edge.

Radio-buttons to select modes of image display:

Show image	Color image is automatically averaged to gray scale image.
Show blurred	Show the image convolved with the Gaussian function.
Show gradient	Show the absolute value of the gradient of the image.

Radio-buttons to select type of active curve:

Closed curve	The active curve forms a closed loop.
Free end points	End points of the curve are free to move under the image forces.
Fixed end points	Coordinates of both end points of the curve are held fixed.
